Good Food Institute (GFI Europe)

The Good Food Institute Europe is a non-profit organisation and think tank that contributes to building a more sustainable, safer and fairer food system through the diversification of protein production. We advocate for the science, policy and investment needed to make alternative proteins delicious, affordable and accessible across Europe. By promoting plant-based foods, cultivating meat from cells and producing ingredients through fermentation, we can increase food security, achieve our climate goals and support nature-friendly agriculture. GFI Europe is driven by philanthropy.

German Agricultural Society (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft - DLG)

Progress and sustainability in agriculture and the food industry. With over 31,000 members, we are an innovation platform and leading network in the agricultural and food industry. With our specialised work, we provide significant impetus for progress. The foundation for this was laid in 1885 by the founder of the DLG, Max Eyth. We understand progress and sustainability to mean productivity and resource conservation. We organise trade fairs and events worldwide. We test food, agricultural technology and equipment and offer practical knowledge through our specialised media. We work in Germany, Europe and globally. We promote science, research, education, consumer protection and international co-operation.

German Federation for Plant innovation (Gemeinschaft zur Förderung von Pflanzeninnovation e. V. - GFPi)

The GFPi cooperates closely with the scientific community in plant research and is the central communication platform for science and industry. The GFPi stimulates innovation in plant breeding by promoting pre-competitive research activities and supporting the implementation of research results in practice. To this end, the GFPi pools the interests of its more than 60 mostly small and medium-sized members. These come from the fields of plant breeding or from companies that deal with plants or plant products, as well as plant-related services along the entire agricultural and horticultural value chain. The GFPi utilises the earmarked public research funds and private funds for current topics in plant research.
