Future Foods Innovation Game at LNDW 2026
News from Jun 07, 2026
On Saturday 6th June 2026, Dr. Dagmara Weckowska, Dr Rosalyn Old and Luise Lallinger ran two sessions at the Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften (the long night of science) public engagement event. Across Berlin, research and scientific organisations open up their doors to members of the public to see and experience the science that is happening across the city for themselves.
In the sessions at the Freie Universität Berlin, the RI-ProT team ran two rounds of the board game “Future Foods Innovation Game”, which was designed by the project team as a way of taking insights from the research and brining them to the public to explore in a fun, participatory way.
Participants of all ages joined the sessions and were able to learn about alternative proteins and the dimensions of Responsible Innovation as they played the collaborative game in different character roles.
The game is available in German and English versions. If you are interested in using it, please get in touch with the RI-ProT team.
