At the end of October, Cornelia Rau and Rosalyn Old participated in the “Twoards New Food Systems – Ernährungs- und Lebensmittelsysteme neu gedacht” and presented their poster of the conceptual framework for responsible innovations in times of protein transitions, conceptualized in the protein transition. This poster session contained over 90 presentations, indicating the enormous amount of ongoing research in this area.

At the conference, both listened to Prof. Dr. Ute Weisz, who is member of the RI-ProT advisory board, opening speech and many presentations as well as panel discussions by experts from a range of different sectors, all working within food systems. The conference centred around discussing the current food systems, ways of food production and social, legal and political framework conditions of change towards new food systems.
