About the Project
This research project aims to support Responsible Innovation and Protein Transition (RI-ProT) by addressing the environmental, social, and health challenges of current and emerging protein production systems. The project brings together scientific and societal stakeholders to co-develop inclusive methods, such as a novel innovation radar, for assessing the impacts of alternative proteins and guiding transformative change. Funded under the Berlin University Alliance’s Grand Challenge initiative, RI-ProT combines interdisciplinary research and practice to shape sustainable, equitable, and health-promoting protein futures.
